Azzam Oilfield Supply and Services successful in 5 crude oil Tankers long-term contract tender by NSI…

Azzam Oilfield Supply and Services has signed a contract to supply a fleet consisting five Double Hull Crude Oil Tanker vessels. The contract order has been awarded to Azzam after the series of technical and commercial evaluation taken place in terms with 2 more vessels which shall be manufactured within the next 5 years for the future requirement. The much-awaited tender that has been released by NSI in the last quarter of 2017 finally has been awarded to Azzam with service commencement from the fourth quarter of 2018.

Mr. Mohamad Al Ahmad, the Director and the secondary member of Azzam Oilfield Supply and Services has commented; “according to the tender description, the specification of the ships ensured Azzam is in position to meet the global operational standards required for the crude oil tanker industry, also the international regulatory requirements governing the protection of environment, controlling of pollution and emission requirements have complied.”
